merry christmas - stamping bella

hey everyone...
Another Christmas card - this time i used Stamping Bella stamps, CTMH stamps, and memory box die to cut out of the reed and leave the black ribbon swirl. This card was created in only 3.5 mins... the image i was playing around with earlier in the day because i was worried my copics would go through the paper and run.  The red paper had already been cut from another card (see the red cut out here) but i like how it cut the swirl out so perfect and the remaining red looked so good up against the black.  The sentiment is stamped and then embossed... that is the only thing that took some time... LOVE the way it turned out
I used copic markers to colour in my fab bella!!!

and added some liquid applique to puff up the boots and hat of my bella
the merry Christmas stamp has been heat embossed
I was inspired to complete the card because of the following challenges:
pretty pink post - 10 min dash (my first one)
forever friends - glitter
unscripted sketches

  1. I agree, that ribbon die cut out on the red, with the black peeking through, looks great! Such a sweet and whimsical card.

Thank you for joining in the 10 Minute Craft Dash. Feel free to enter once more for the "Red" feature! :)

  2. The red against the black really does give a fabulous bold look to your card! That swirl is divine! Great coloring on your Stampin' Bella image too. Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)
